Veterans Affairs - Network-Based Encryption Key Recovery and Storage (NBEKRSS) Solution
Reston, VA., October 1, 2018 – Zeva Inc. has teamed with Insignia Technology Services, LLC, to support the Department of Veterans Affairs (VA) Office of Information & Technology (OI&T). As part of the delivery of a Network-Based Encryption Key Recovery and Storage (NBEKRSS) solution the Insignia Team will implement Zeva’s DecryptNaBox platform. Insignia and Zeva Inc. will deliver a complete network-based Public Key Infrastructure (PKI) storage solution, including all of software, middleware, interfaces and documentation in order to transition NBEKRSS to the VA Enterprise Cloud (VAEC). The Insignia Team’s solution provides the capability to recover Personal Identity Verification (PIV) encryption certificates to a mass storage device in a manner that allows VA access to the encryption keys to support VA investigations, while allowing local Information Security Officers (ISOs) a recovery capability for much smaller investigations via a Microsoft Outlook interface.
